probably clutching at straws with that one mate.

FPV aren't as one eyed as some of us fans are.

My guess is they'll leave it up at least until the start of the 2011 season when he's actually driving for HRT. He is the reigning champ and he did it in a Falcon after all.

Yeah it's stupid having HRT's big signing promoting the oppositions product.

Although having said that he doesn't really oversell it, maybe he kept something in reserve for the GTS video he's shooting later in the week.

It was all part of the Ford/FPR/FPV bid to keep him in blue. (this is my understanding)
Should it come down from the site.... meh, I don't think its a big issue.

it is a tuff one is it not.

yes because who better to advertise "THE CAR" then the current V8 Supercars champ that did it in a ford.

just flicked over the supercars site and he is all mocked up in the HRT gear, hard pill to swallow! so no!

FPV wouldn't be so one eyed - leave it there. JC is still the 2010 champ, he won it in a DJR Ford - it's history, leave it alone.

Seriously who would not buy the FPV product because the driver in the car drives for HRT?

you'd probably be surprised at the amount of potential customers that wouldn't even know who he is or what he does or who he drives for.

No I wouldn't, but I'm wondering if the small amount that would buy the car (and can afford it) that know who he is would be so petty that they would not buy the vehicle.

Why would it be?

Is there footage of another Ford driver taking the GT for a rip around Bathurst they can replace it with?

Guys. A thought.

The DJR change of ownership clause in his contract was what allowed Courtney to go.

Given the sad passing of our most beloved adversary this week, how robust is the current HRT contract to a change of ownership clause?

should the cup and #1 go to the team? I think if it was important to ford/djr, they would have tried harder to keep him.

holden have a new slogan here it is : if you cant earn the #1 buy it and slap it on your car - imho the rules need to be changed to stop this defection to holden seems you win in a Ford and you soon after drive a holden asin next season, therefore getting the #1 on the holden product, team sell-your-phone won now are a holden based team, courtney wins champship now hes in a holden - hm see a pattern here if the ford teams keep winning then there won't be any left because they will all be bought by holden somehow.

and having courtneys' praise of the oppositions' product would irritate the HRT faithful imho so leave it

Is he driving a Ford or a Holden?

Would anyone here watch a clip of Peter Brock or Mark Skaife (or Craig Lowndes) doing a lap in a Falcon........I would.

They should leavie it as it's a good vid, but it would be nice to see FPV do a bit more of this sort of stuff throw frosty or new recruit Mr Davison into one at PI or Winton.

yeah, leave it up because it's in a Ford doing the victory lap not a Holden. (These drivers have no loyalty... its all about the money and Holden are happy to dish it out to the top Ford drivers to try and stay on top.) He won't be winning in a Holden next year so he may as well enjoy what once was.

Why do Holden keep pinching all the good Ford V8 Drivers should be the question?
