I am also running 1024 X 768 and have the scroll bar across the bottom. I thought the recent tweeks performed on the banner would fix this, but I guess not.

yeah i brought this up in the other thread. making the banner 1000 or 1010 pixels wide fixes this prob, though people running 800x600 still get the scroller.
sizing the banner to 100% of the window (like eaghia says) is what it was set to before. people running higher res get an absolutely massive banner, and also any res which the banner is resized (higher or smaller than the normal images width) causes it to look rough. webbrowsers resize pictures shite - avoid it :P |

Bring back the old banner, problem solved. :
The current banner implies this forum as being a sbutler/BA/sbutler only forum. :

This is the perfect solution:
<table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse; border-width: 0" bordercolor="#111111" width="100%" id="AutoNumber1"> <tr> <td width="100%" background="http://fordforums.com.au/images/fordforums_banner.jpg" style="border-style: none; border-width: medium; background-image: url('http://fordforums.com.au/images/fordforums_banner.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat" height="160"> </td> </tr> </table>
