The doortrims look awesome Jason. It's definately a unique car... part EA, part EF/EL, and part BA/BF. The door handles really suit it.

They're all rear handles aren't they? I recall front handles curving upwards. Some very smart work you've done there Jase ;)

Nope they are all correct handles, i can show the codes from the back to prove it, FL, FR, RL and RR

Is the rear door elictric window (down/up) thing from an AU cause I learnt to drive in an AU XR8 and they look similar..

quick update, after about 2 odd hours of effort the rear driver door actually opens from the inside using BA cable and modified EA door locking mechanism.

now to do the front passenger door, then finish the others off.

nup, GLi's had winders.

I have the standard EA power window switch in the centre console and all EA window electrics.

I think you mean the Electric Mirrors, I will have EB mirrors with EF/EL electric controller, thats next to be done, but is pretty simple.
