Probably best to get a service mate. Sounds similiar to what mine was doing as your car warms up does it seem to get worse? I got a service and have not had a problem since!!

Does it get worse as you drive longer? With stopping and starting again?

I've had a slipping auto for the past year! It's had a service but that hasn't fixed it. I want to convert to manual, but that's because I hate autos. For your sake, I'd get a quote on how much it would cost to rebuild the auto, and take it from there.

1600 is pretty good, specially with the 6 month warranty, even tho they are really strong boxes (the t5's) so yeah i might hunt around if its gonna be 1600, is the gearbox rebuilt or just a second handy?

I'll assume that's a typo. Not that they're as bad as the XE 5 speeds...

Honestly try and find someone who is keen enough to help you fit a T5 box up. Much cheaper, plus you learn something. The hardest part here is getting hold of someone who has the time to show you how to do it.

I guess that price is okay if they include EVERYTHING; decent T5 from EBII-EL, new clutch, machined flywheel, clutch cable, pedal box (and installation), bushes, fluid, and an ECU ($$$) too.
