Can one of you real racers explain the fastest way to get off the line in a road car without inflicting GBH on the auto trans ?

???? So many variables what type of auto, standard car etc etc......I'd say if the auto is in servicable condition (even if standard) stall car up to limit of traction and mash the accelerator when light goes green (if standard tyres/chassis/suspension - that may be on 2nd last light).
