Hydrogen is just a pipe dream I reckon. Do they seriously think oil companies are going to replace petrol pumps with hydrogen pumps and all their associated storage tanks etc. It might be ok in Japan and LA but beyond that it's highly unlikely to happen. The costs would be phenomenal and would only be worth doing if most manufacturers planned on doing hydrogen powered vehicles. Only Toyota seems really interested in Hydrogen, everyone else wants to go hybrid/electric.

can we at least try pure alcohol fuel first, the first fords were designed and run for a time.
