Hey Guys,
Just reading in Hot4s about strut bracing the front & rear of your vehicle. Anybody ever strutted the front or rear of your car? |

Maybe it would be useful for cars with really powerful engines, or really long bodies? Or does the same apply? |

60's Mustangs and falcons do benifit from a similar brace, however they are reknowned for "collapsing" the enginebay (ie the shock towers get closer together), especially the big block cars.

I doubt you'd even notice on something as small & stiff as a Fez.

some up-spec STi back in the land of the rising sun has a hydraulically damped rear strut brace. apparently it does the biz.
supposedly a more worthwhile piece of kit would be the brace that sits near the bottom of the suspension unit, from memory, connecting the 2 LCA. or just a bigger front sway bar, and a rear sway bar |

Swaybars first, then strut braces.
You'll be suprised the difference a strut brace makes when the rest of the goods has been put on prior.
