I have searched the forums, on cams, but stil cannot find what is the best cam, i would like to know a few things, you guys can help, i would like to know what cams you have, what mods you have, what dynos you have, at times you have, i believe the value for money is the wade 1521a.
I would be intrested to know what you pple think about this setup, EBXR6 4L, auto, electronic shift kit, 3.45lsd, motorvator extracters, 2.5inch mandrel exh with res, unichip, capa stage2 9psi powerdyne kit, 2 12inch davies craig thermos, and a 1521a wade cam, what power would you think you would get with this setup running bp ultimate and nulon prostrength octane boost, and what do you pple think. |

wade will only grind the 1521a as a billit cam, which ends up being about $400 from memory.
Rumour has it the 1521a was first developed as a forced induction cam, how ever i don't know if this was for a turbo or supercharged car, nor do i know how it would respond. JMM do however do turbo grinds,

if you are staying auto, you cant go past a Dev3HL or a Wade1004/114. I used a Wade 1004/110 and just a cat back to run 15.4 in an Auto EL.

Best bet is to call wade/crow/JMM/surecam and get a cam profile to suite supercharged engines instead of trying to pick the best NA cam. It probably isnt going to cost any more

im running a wade 918x cam. great idle and since the chiptourque chip has been tuned to it, the acceleration is smoth throughout the rev range. little bit less lift than a 1004 but smooth as.
