Hi Fadi, i just finished installing the new dvd kit that i ordered yesterday and recieved this afternoon (very fast postage) it all works and took about an hour to install but i'm having problems with the audio, the back ground music over runs the voices during dvd playback, would a small amplifier with a filter for low freq's fix the problem? i'm not sure if this would work or if it would just amplify the problem,
thanks Karl |

Do you mean you can hear the radio in the background while the DVD audio is playing. If so this sounds like a problem with the head unit. If not could you give a little more information.

No it's not the radio it's the background music of the movie that over runs the voice track, i think it might be the frequency setting of the crossover used with the tweeters in the premium sound but i'm not sure. any idea?

To be honest I am stumped. I have no idea what this could be and have never come across anything like this. You are saying that the background music from the DVD and voice from the DVD overlap? Very strange.

I think i figured it out with a bit of playing around, the when i remove the supressor supplied with the kit from the curcuit the sound is ok until i start the engine, i'll get a small 2 ch amp and try to bump up the signal after the supressor and see how i go, thanks for your help.

I know on my normal household dvd player you can switch channels via the remote. I am not sure with the the car ones but you might want to check your remote to see if you can change sound channels Aka 2 channel/5channel or just audio tracks.
