Default disapointing cruise.......again

Well boys you've done it again.

the whole point of the cruise is excatly that 'CRUISE' not kick back at bunning where ur all bait for the local .... (oh yes they can still check ur car if its not on)

it was good to see the usual faces n to catch up, but if u all wanna grow as club, you gotta show ppl out there we ARE a club not jus a bunch of guys that hang out at dark n secluded carparks.

on another note ive seen in mags that club cruises have been photographed, now anyone can argue but if u wanna get ur car recognised, getting in a mag is the way.

and for all you cry babies about burnouts n dough-nuts, did you ever think if either you guys do the meet points at a very public place like chapel/coles carpark (where there is undercover ba parked every weekend) or kept on cruising instead of parking every 2 secs that ppl will tend not to do anything stupid cos of the risk level. i mean look how big albert park was of course of course ppl are gonna hark up. and im sure many of u remember wat happened last time we met there i know u do john, if it was a tight carpark or chapel i would've not even thought about it.

on a final note to those who are worried about getting canaried or epa'd, simple answer if u cant deal with the hassle of the police, then drive a stocko plain n simple. im sick n tired of the whinging about canaries, my car has been through countless canaries but hey its still unique. canaries and epa's is the price u pay for keepin a modefied car

on a good note it was a good chance to catch up with some boys n talk ИИИИ. DOUG n those 2 FORD SHIRT WEARING GUYS with the sprint ur a bunch ИИИИpots lol

put some effort into the next cruise ey boys lata

wouldn't it be better to actually 'discuss' what the problems are within the 'club' or 'cruises'...
Don't people have some kind of input into the types of cruises organised? If so, then wouldn't that mean they can choose to go or not...

It's really sad to see someone post up not only something negative but rather rude too. I personally think if there is a problem then it should be discussed a little more in depth...It's not as easy as you may think undr8d to organise a cruise and keep it all under control and keep EVERY PERSON happy all the time... Some give and take. :

I dont think that taking young children under the age of 8 to a cruise that ends up finishing around 2:00 am is a very good idea. Saw some of the kids running around in the carpark while cars were entering. Its just being reckless. Im sure other cruises such as BBq days and such are more of a family event.
No need to get all arc'd up they were just simple points that we could take into consideration.

tiga thanx for the input

but as our families are so spread out if ya want new cars and new people there you need to make allowances for thopse that are bringing kids along no matter what age they are

before i bring them i check with a moderator to see if its o/k and i havnt got a no at all

from what i can tell this is family club and thats what i do bring my family

I agree. For what I saw in the cruise, everyone was very well behaved, and the kids had a ball (even when half of us got lost).

Also, I find the carpark stopping points to be pretty damn good! A chance to put faces to names, and check out each others' rides. Unfortunately it seemed like not enough time for me at the stopping points, coz I wanted to catch up with some mates but ran out of time due to catching up with others first. And at Moorabbin I left "early" coz I had a shift the next morning at work (dammit).

I for one am very grateful for the cruise events which are organised.

John: an idea for a future meet point: I noticed outside the Rod Laver Arena that there was an AU meet happening there (those of us who missed that turn at the arena saw them), there was enough parking space for about 50 of them! There were even a couple of avalons thrown in the mix, and the odd BA. :nutsycuck

This thread is very damaging in regard to those reading this who did not attend friday's cruise, as it is simply not accurate. Go back to your Today Tonight traineeship if you want to develop slanted/miscontrued reports. And learn to make Naomi's coffee how she likes it, you little ИИИИИ.

I'd have to agree with almost all the points. I can't stand cruises where we stop every 20min

thats fine, we'll cancel all cruises until someone can please 100% of the people.

as for those public places: we've been kicked out or asked to leave from such places in the past, hence the use of these other car parks.

but hey, who cares

Oh thats right, i forgot we're not allowed to have cruises that involve socialising at night, you forgot to mention the fact that there are day cruises, that there are other events, no ofcourse not, lets just talk about 1 aspect of what the club does.

public car parks? we've tried and tried again to find car parks that are accepting of large groups of cars.
You either get: asked to leave by cops or security or large amounts of other cars meaning parking becomes scarse.
if people can't control them selves for 30mins in a carpark then perhaps they should leave the club.
I don't see how its the organisers fault if burnouts happen, i'm fairly sure everyone has a mind of their own.

i agree with that totally, i found it fair boring stopping at bunnings for like an hour, then moving to "hang" at albert park car park.. i thought it was meant to be a cruise not a gathering!..

but anyways.. welcome back to the forums!..

Thanks for the offer Hus, its not so much organising a cruise, its locations to park.
Suggest some places to park 50-60 cars and we'll be 1/2 way there.
it seems all the complains are that it was too dark, to big, to boring (i don't see what can be exciting in a carpark anyway)
Some suggestions on locations on the other side of the city would be greatly appreciated.

See i've worked it out, all the complains about 'stopping at bunnings then going to albert park...'

you missed 1/2 the damn cruise anyway.
that alone suggests you're way out of the loop.
some of the reason we waited around at a few of the car parks was more along the lines of waiting for people who had gotten lost.
we've already discussed the map that was missing 1 direction, but we were trying our best to ensure people were informed.

and last but not least.. and not to discredit you in any way.. but you were banned from the forum for not being able to control yourself.
I know you want to organise a cruise yourself, and i for one would like to see it happen.
You seem to be full of ideas that will solve everything and i'd be keen to see how it goes.

categorised cruises??? just a sugestion.. i mean wouldnt 20 car cruises of people wanting to do the same thing be better than 50 car cruises who are all over the place..
