yes lemon absolutely. Google "holden Cruze problems" and you could read for days.
My work has 3, 2 of which have lunched transmissions, plus stacks of other niggly things that cost money to fix. And im not just holden bashing either, they are hardly a durable, trouble free car.

I read that as FB Holden posts for cruze and thought
there must have been some trouble with a FB holden cruize as in a group of 1960 Holden's out for a drive I'm getting old :(

MY14 onward aren't a bad thing. MY13 and prior were just disastrous. We bought one for the missus after a ton of reading and figuring what's right and wrong with them. That said the SRi and SRiV with the 1.6 turbo donk are probably the only ones I'm referring to, the 1.8 is apparently a asthmatic POS and I can't comment on the diesel. Our SRi is manual but it's a surprisingly good drive. The auto we test drove actually seemed to know what it was doing too (both MY14+). The newer one, i have to comment, isn't pleasing on the eye while the old one wasn't exactly Elle either.
Note...it's not my thing and i never cared whether we got it or not, but my final cynicism actually yielded after driving it.

We had the misfortune of hiring a 2012 model and spend a week with it in Sydney. I'd call it our "4 wheeled near death experience", dull, dreary and gutless reigns supreme in the Cruze DNA. Potential owners should set money aside for the trauma therapy they will require.

There's one in our pool of cars at work, a 2013 model I believe.
Always the last car to be taken and usually spends weeks not driven and covered with bird poop. This thing is absolutely vile to drive and even if it is absolutely reliable I cannot work out for the life of me why anyone would buy one. My work colleagues are majority non car oriented people and they say it's a shytebox.

We have a 1.6 turbo SRi-V Manual sedan. It has been great.. the SRi and SRi-V are really the only ones to own. As said earlier, the handling is awesome.
They perform well. The only issues we have had is minor trim faults. |

My grandpa bought one brand new in white with dogs dick pink accents.... the thing got rear ended in west ryde when it was 2 days old with my mum (6 at the time) and my aunty who was 4 in the back. The driver of the car behind died at the scene however the car was fixed under insurance. Fb holdens are much better then Facebook holdens. I won't comment on the cruze because I have had rentals before

Maybe there was wisdom in the missus wanting a MANUAL SRi...the thing is still treating us as well as any new car we've ever bought. Assume they fixed quick smart?

Try the Colorado we had a fleet of them about 20 units all had the rear suspension bushes done, 3 had engine changes 11 had diff leaks,2 batteries melted 3 had rear engine seals leaked and they all went through Oil like it was going out of style and that is on top of the recalls
