Thought this would be of great interest to many on here.

I'm up to page 54 and it's a bloody fascinating read. Imagine if you had something like that under your back yard?

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...1&t=543304&i=0

It will kill a few hours.

Ironic isn't it that someone who often posts dribble that rarely contributes to the OP should post that Maybe you should re-read through your own post history :

He only had his mate dave get back from holiday yesterday or today. They found those old rusted away guns which were pretty cool. I don't think he's cleared it out yet though as he was waiting for the war people to have a geez.

yeah the false floor has me intrigued. My guess is its a secondary storage area. Or it could be where they kept their prisoners.

This is awesome. I thought it was pretty cool that there is an old cellar under my parent's house that hasn't been opened in many many years (plus there's lino on top of it), but this beats it big time! Awesome reading!

There was a blog started by the OP in that thread that had all the important bits, minus the chit chat for those with short attention spans.

In fact I'm sure it's linked in this thread too.

I found some of the comments great. The photos are priceless in the thread.

One of the best reading adventures I've had for a long time though.

To think I was excited about finding an old newspaper under my mum's house a few years ago! lol.
