There is your problem. You had one TPS for the trans and one for the ECU. Wiring them both together can stuff the signals up. Now your trans computer isnt happy with the signal its getting.

i'm fairly sure InitialD and Sundeep both swapped to the single TPS, had issues so had to swap back.

JUST FOR EVERYONE SO THIS IS KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE LAND OF FORD! You can't fit a EB2/ED/EF/EL single TPS to a EA series 2 or EB series 1 Throttle body. Even though it will screw on and you can bridge the wires, the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) will get confused and make your auto go all crazy as the ECU Throttlebody signal and transmission kickdown signals get messed up. Soon as the DUAL TPS's were refitted my auto worked correctly and stopped chewing through petrol like a 347 V8. Now in your case Niko, isnt your car manual? so there for you would only need to connect the ECU TPS and not bother with the blue TPS wiring/plug that is the auto? or is this for a different car. IF for a different car, you could just pull the Throttlebody apart and change the main shaft in the throttlebody to the EA2/EB1 style with larger shaft for the TPS's? or just get the correct Throttle body Now sundeep and I have BOTH told jason (EA2BA) that his way cause's issues but Im still unsure if he ever listened to me to change it back, but doesnt bother me, just means im faster then him e

yeah, there are issues with the internal bias resistors in the ECU and TCU messing with the signal. Unless your changing throttle body or ECU I cant see any reason why you would change the setup.

Both TPS switches are the same except for one has a straight through hole. At work the Mechs will use one for the other if they suspect there is a problem with the Engine one of the Gearbox one?

A) rewire the car to EB2/ED (little hasty for just a TPS) B) resolder on the EA dual tps style or replace the MPFI loom with a new one and install the TPS's again
