G'day all my first posting. I got a 3.45 lsd centre out of a Fairlane (IRS) gonna put it in my S spec au2. Are rebuild kits available. I have looked around several websites with not much luck, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry but I know nothing about diff rebuilds other than I will likely need one one day.
But this thread seems to have been created for your purpose? https://www.fordforums.com.au/showth...t=diff+rebuild And even if your kit isn't listed on ebay, maybe one of these reputable sellers can provide it? https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_...lcon&_osacat=0 |

Thanks for the reply. With looking through ebay and other online stores, they have no listing's for a lsd.
I am trying to get a repair kit that comes with replacement wear disc (I think that's what they are called) to do a full rebuild. Hopefully, someone can help me |

I am not sure sorry, tried to look at sticker but most of it was missing.
It was in a series 2 Fairlane with IRS, the lsd tag was still attached car looked a bit ruff which is why I'm trying to find the rebuild kit. Read lots of threads here telling me I can go irs to beam just not the other way around. I currently have 3.23 beam with noisy bearing and leaking pinion. Glad My lad is apprentice lv mech |

Not sure if your question is for rebuilding the LSD center or the entire cradle with suspension.
If it's for LSD center I had the same issue when I enquired about rebuilding the LSD as the clutch packs were not available. I was recommend to have a positrac centre fitted. They also said if the crown wheel and pinion needed replacing the total cost of a full rebuild by them would be $3600. I ended up getting a 2nd hand single spinner complete diff for $250 and fitting it myself. |

G'day Magee,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I wanted to rebuild the diff centre only. I have been told the diffs are not serviceable and your comment just confirmed it Really disappointing as I got lsd centre for $50 Might try and get another 3.23 beam, do the bearings and try the centre I can only live and learn. Thanks again |
