Default New Zetec Black Sapphire

Hi all,

Picked up my Zetec this arvo. I'm loving it. Stock as a rock, but it feels solid and smooth as is. Will probably add a window tint in the near future.

Here's a few pics.

Cheers,
BV

Black doesn't do it for me because of the attraction to heat.

I'm very happy with my Titanium Grey

I'm happy you're happy extremist. I'm happy with black, but would have been just as happy with Titanium. It's all good. Everybody's happy!!

thanks Focus Chick! Nice to see another newbie on here.

Took mine for a decent highway run up to Toowoomba today and it's a dream to ride in. The cruise is spot on, never varies more than 1km/h either side of the speed set. Very easy to rack up the miles in. AVG fuel consumption is 7.5l / 100km so far this tank which is pretty good considering there was 30 mins of 1st gear stop-go at the drive-in last night!

just thought i'd add the pics of mine with the window tint. I went for the reflective style from tint mart at Browns Plains. They reckoned that with the black paintwork, a normal black tint wouldn't look as good as the reflective style. I'm happy with it. It keeps the car nice and cool. We've got two little girls and they don't have any issues with the sun/heat in the back. (ie. we've thrown away those nasty window blinds!)

When ya get a chance, have a talk to Kings Springs and ask them about the lowered 30% stiffer spring set they have. Car sits real nice, no need to change shocks, not too rough a ride, doesn't bottom or scrub out even with 5 people and luggage (even on the run to Warwick through Beaudesert)... I have run it on the race track at Warwick with the original and the lowered springs and they made a massive difference to the handling.

this is what mine looks like after lowering with those springs... They're a nice looking car!

I would rather go a set of Eibachs than King Springs. But that is me. Nice cars both of you.

Never used them before so I can't compare. It's just that for us here in SE Qld, Kings are convenient and fit them whilst you wait and are only around $500-$550ish fitted. All you have to do then is get the cars wheels re-aligned.

Thanks...
