i was wondering if someone here would know where i could get my hands on short shocks for my 92 tx5 , i have lovell super low springs in the car and lovell tells me they dont have super lows for telstars i'm in melb

not agood idea the telstars are already quite low
you may have to chase a few mod shops to find an alternative

most definatly std shocks wont get you defected

If the springs are not captured when the car is wheel is off the ground then you will need shorter shocks, but most lowering springs are made to work with the factory shocks & be captured.

could anyone tell me how hard it is to remove original ax tx5 front struts and replacing them with gabriel shockers and what tools i would need , thanks in advance

My only advice would b watch out when removing the spring, if you slip and the spring jumps out you could be in some major pain. Most wheel places like bob jane will change the struts/springs over for about $60 and they have devices which lessen the danger and work that is needed.
