Default Guess who's a V8 W!@#er part 2

Hey,

Another long story short lol, I bought Fantz's old EL Ghia V8 for a pretty damn good price last night.

The car's got 350,000km but inside and out are clean as, besides the odd scratch or carpark ding and the interior is immaculate after a day cleaning it today.

The mechanicals could do with a bit of work as the car detonates a fair bit and struggles to move at WOT lol, but I'm not going to be giving it much grief because it'll be going on gas then pretty much driven daily so I need it to be reliable, unlike the last car I bought as a daily which started to **** me.

Nothing planned for it before you guys start to ask, I'll put the standard head unit and speakers back in, then I'll **** the ugly spoiler off and tune up the motor to fix the issues with WOT. Most likely timing and MAF related.

Anyways, pics will be up soonish but you all know what it looks like now.

Also, does anyone have any brackets for a premo head unit and possibly a loom? If you do and want to get rid of 'em can you please PM me.

enjoy it mate - it should treat you ok for a daily. it's definitely no bullet, as we both know, even still it sounded pretty sweet when you took off out of my street last night, never heard it from the outside before. Sounds far better than inside. And yeah... the loom.............. fell ......... off

cool stix Sundeep. Now for the SUNNY8 plates, dumped on EL GT's and spoiler removed, but leave the pin striping on, and you and Ash can go cruising off into the sunset in your gunmetal EL Ghia V8's.

Haha seriously though good luck with it, should be a nice comfortable economicle cruiser once it's on Gas. Is it still lowered at least ?

a) You'll either get sick of it and sell it soon
b) You'll start modding it

You just can't get away from the 5.0ls Sunny :P

They are twin 3" I think yeah, not too sure though I didn't grab a measuring tape and measure them lol. I wouldn't have any other tip though, if it was an oval one I'd rip it off and chuck on of these on. Best EF/EL tip EVER!!!

It's a twin 2.5" dumper from memory, with a redback hotdog right behind it. Rest of the cat back system was made/bent custom to fit the car.

nah man, i had twins on the el, oval on the eb and i reckon the twins are better. I'm getting a similar tip put on the EB soon, the twin dumper looked great on the el

you can't say that doesn't look good. just picture it without the spoiler, and without the rims (which looked great on the shelf, but never liked em on the car)

sorry sunny don't mind my occasional hijacking of this thread...

I just don't like dump pipes. Normal twins would look good though.

Don't tempt me!

Nahh this one's definitely not going to get any mods, what it has is enough I'll run it in to the ground and still be able to sell it for more than what I paid for it lol.
