Default Monaco Bar ice cream Is Back!

Went down to the shops today and saw the little sign saying it's back. So i bought 2. Didn't even feel like ice cream. But who cares! Awhile ago there was an on-line petition to get them back into production. Guess it worked.
Anyone remember them?

Found this pic.

What the hell is that thing? Is that something that was popular 30 years ago or something?

I'm 17, but if it used to be 18, I probably did.

I can't believe you don't remember them though, they only stopped making them 6 years ago.

: WOOOHOOOO!!! I love those bad boys & emailed whoever the hell it was that made them ages ago to try and get them back. I hereby claim responsibility for their return.

Worst thing is that I'm on a hell of a diet right and there is no way on this earth I'm eating one til after christmas. Going to buy a couple of boxes for the freezer just in case.

This may be the best news I've heard this year.

They are not the same as they used to be! The biscuit is too hard, I was very sad when I bought one for $3.00! But let me tell you, go to woolies get a box of ice-creams called ice-cream sandwiches made by "the authetic ice-cream company" in a pack of 4. They come in either vanilla, chocolate or mint ice-cream and they are very close to the orginal monaco bar. Yes, I am a fan. ahhaa.

BINGO ! We alway's have a plentiful supply of the mint one's in this house.

I'm not much of a fan of ice-cream but these are sensational.

Adam.

Nar, that's a glass half full/empty thing. Doesn't matter though, 'cause they still taste killer.

Just looks like a Giant sandwich to me... We've had them over here for ages. :S

I must admit that about 5-6 years ago they changed the biscuit mix making it softer and changed the wrapping from foil to plastic. Boo!!! Bring back the original I say!
