NUMURKAH Show

All members, Sunday December 3rd sees the club attending the Numurkah "Show Us Your Wheels" show. Last year ORSM won the best club display. Lets see if we can do it again.

The show includes everything that basically has wheels and an engine attached, including aircraft.

Yeh was going to have the 3rd off but had to let rostering roll me over so I could get a extra few days off for my interview.

Hey ORSM club memebers just a reminder . The time is drawing near for our trip up to the Numurkah Shows your Wheels Show and Shine. We are to assembel at Ford HQ on Saturday 2nd December at 3.00pm for a departure at 3.30pm. Please leave a message here on who is coming. We can stay at Phil and Maree's home . You will need to bring your own sleeping bags and stuff like that. There will be a small cost to each of us to cover the cost of BBQ and breakfast. So clean up those machines. Job List. 1. Marty bring flags,2. Tony bring flag stands, 3. Steve marquee,4. Peter bring membership and photo stand. List of starters are Jason & Sam(traveling up sunday morning) Tony ORSM5L Kevin ORSMT, Marco, Theo,Tony ORSM8,Steve ORSMEB, Martin XRR240, Peter, Dave GTORSM, Jeramy XR8 Sprint and of course Phil who resides in Namurkah. Im leaving to join u boys on the sunday morning, at what time should this be?? about?? My body clock will be in night shift mode, so i will be leaving very early AM proberly.

Suggest a time Tony, as I may have to head up early Sunday too. Otherwise I'll have too much to clean at the last minute.

I will leave from work Saturday and head straight to Ford HQ. I may not display the car though, I'll let you guys decide. The headlights and bonnet will still have chipping. The BF bar should on though. Although the bonnet will be up and not as noticeable except the lights.

Hi Kev, well thats good carnt wait to see how she looks with BF bar on the front. Im sure if you clean her up she will be fine see you then. By the way David we just need to know numbers to see where evrybody will fit. If you choose to travel up sunday thats cool.

Well l was looking at coming but have finally sold the car this time for sure as the guy has put down a hefty deposit. And the car is leaving the state and heading north.

Thanks Kevin For those memebrs who ate travelling up Sunday morning will need to Depart from Ford Head Quarters by the 5.00am to reach Namurkah in time to a be part of the display. So Kevin Tony Dave Jason & Sam May want to travel up together so leave information here on what members are doing on SUnday. Tony

I think 0500hrs is sufficient. I have a long day ahead and after show, so do not wish to make it any earlier. If others wish to leave earlier is ok.

Well we need to be going at 5 on dot, i hate rushing things...... not 10,20 or whatever past 5am
And just one other thing,my licence is too important to me,so i wont be speeding 4 anyone....

Maybe might be easier for some to travel up their own time. Most will already be there so no need for convoy.

Put me down boys and the missus and kids for our first ORSM appearance and i will tow up the funny car as well. I will be staying in Tatura on the saturday night and will meet ya's in Numurkah on sunday morning.
