yea, its like, the light gets projected into the distance instead.... that once happened to me on the way up from wollongong... i detoured into the national park.... it was heaps dark....had high beams on, and fog lights.... and to get the low beams on i had to hold the light stalk as though i was flashing someone! bloody annoying when your driving around corners. It was pitch black!

Focus thankfully doesn't suffer from this, we have blindingly good high beams combined with lows. The problem with Focus is the low beams cut off too far away because of the top of the bumper, so you actually NEED your fogs on to light up the road safely in front of you... sorry officer. But this being a Fiesta forum, and having spent many k's in the new fiesta, I'd agree and say that it's a royal pain. May have something to do with temperature of the light housing perhaps? Anyway to rewire?

This wouldn't happen to be bacause they use H4 globes (which most small cars use) would it. If they do there is not really much you can do about it apart from using higher wattage globes like the narva plus 50 or the like.

I travel at night, coming home from work.
No problem with low and high beam. Looks just like the lights on my Fairmont.
Only problem is getting used to the light stalk. Dimming the high beam flashes high beam first. Is this correct? or is it a European requirement ?
