It is a great relaxing fun day,
Do any off the FPV/Tickford club member's remember a white supercharged EL XR8 that went to this event a yr or two ago, If I recall he was not a member but he drove like an idiot on the burnout pad and by the way the marshall's were talking to him afterward's, I don't think he was invited back??????. I have seen this vehicle driving around Bendigo a few time's and he drives the same way on the road.

I hope so too, but only for everyone who will be helping out with the timing.

I'm sure that the rain would provide better cover of the skid pan than those tired old sprinklers :

Well, the day has come and gone. Thank you to all that came, and an extra thank you to those that gave a helping hand, from cooking the snags to timing, and course set ups. From what I have heard, it was a very enjoyable day had by all, and hopefully we can run a few more of these events in the future.

Thanks again. :

I never thought I could have that much fun behind the wheel of my car. As an introduction to Club events and Motorsport in General it was a well organised and run event.

After the initial nerves of my first few runs, I had a blast. After the water was turned on it really changes the playing field, scarey (for a first timer) but fun. Now I am a bit more confident behind the wheel and know I will be going that bit harder next time, and possibly get a little more involved.

Thanks all for a great day, and a great display by some talented drivers.

It was a sensational day indeed...........
I'm in the process of putting the results together, and so far me thinks there may be a NEW Motorkhana champion..........

Thanks to the guys who timed or "tonged up" for lunch - the simple act of everyone helping out for a little bit meant we ran 8 different courses with "play time" at the end of the day... and most importantly EVERYONE got to enter and not miss out because they were timing. One guy's flight landed at 3:30 on Sunday morning from the states, so he came straight up! Now that, my friend is true dedication.................

My clutch is shagged, my steering is now a little shady (not to mention my brain after the weekend), but hell yes it's worth it!!!

Group C- the handbrake work was freakin' OUTSTANDING !!!
Between you and Andrew putting on the show there was plenty to watch!

Here's a couple of pics - there will be a heap on the club website tonight (not to mention i'm sure others who will post some).... I've got a small vid file of Andrew's go at the last naughts & crosses which ?I'll try and put on the site tonight as well..........

Best day I have ever had with the ute, excellent organising as usual and Group C was my pick of the day for outstanding driving. I'd post some pics of the day but somehow got erased off my memory card _
Looking forward to the next one and hopefully do a little bit better than I did :the_finge
