We have arranged for a Club display at the Shannons Classic at Phillip island. There will be up to 25-30 clubs on display, along with hopes of 10-20 manufacturers.
The Classic as the name suggests is a weekend of classic's racing with plenty to see and do. When: Saturday March 10th- Sunday March 11th Where: Phillip Island Circuit Contact: via pm, email or mobile Space is limited to a dozen cars. Ensure you RSVP to be included. Each car receives a weekend pass to the event. Norm Beechey is the patron of the event and will be driving his Impala throughout the event. Bob Jane has also been invited to drive his Jag...... They are expecting over 450 cars competing over the weekend and the F5000's will be running along with, Formula 1's from the modern era, 5 ex-championship winning Porsche's (962,956,934 and 935's),a genuine Ford GT40, a Lola T70, a Lola T610, a Lola T286 Cosworth, a McLaren M1A and a Matich SR4. Also, top touring cars will include a brace of turbocharged Nissan Skylines from the late 1980s and numerous Group A and Group C Commodores and Falcons, while the earlier Group N category will see Mustangs, Holdens, Alfas and Minis lock horns again on the 4.5km long Grand Prix circuit. Cheers,
