HI Guys and Girls,
The new year has started and was wanting to gauge interest in doing the first cruise for 2005. No plans set yet so suggestions are welcome, will see what interest there is and take it from there. Possible dates are 29th/30th Jan, 5th/6th Feb.... |

As you're aware, but others might not be, I'll be in the Northern Territory. :(
Will a NSW meet kick off without me? ;) Make the most of the summer! Tim |

Re: NSW - New Year Cruise
[quote] FAST EDDIE The 6th of Feb is o.k. for me, guys. You're most welcome to come and check out the roads up here the Mountains. Perhaps a quick run over the Bells Line of Road via Springwood Road to Yarramundi? We can meet at McDonalds at Eastern Creek on the M4. What are your thoughts? Fast Eddie. [quote]

OK GUYS,
Now its time to get serious, who is in and who is out, Fast Eddie and myself are keen to get a cruise happnening on the 6th FEB....at the moment Eddie has suggested a cruise starting at the twin servo's on the M4 @ Blacktown going up through the mountains. Alternate to that we can get a coast road trip going to make the day more accesible for Newcastle poeple. And for those who are uninitiated, it may be a euroford cruise but we are happy to have along any others fords that want to join in. The days are relaxed and we like to enjoy each others company. For pics of past cruises check out www.eurofordclub.com Expressions of interest post below....we can do this folks, Tim might not be coming along but he will be ecstatic to see we can get one going without him, plus we can jam his inbox with pics...

A coast trip might be better I think. We can't make it if it is the mountains trip only because of early work commitments the following day. I'll try and get a hold of a few other fiesta's in newy. In relation to other cars coming do they have to be euro fords coz i might have a few interested parties.

Alrighty Guys & Girls....Executive Decision Time
Start: 6th FEB (this weekend) 9:00am @ Thornleigh Maccas (always a favourite meeting place) Depart Thornleigh, head up the old PACIFIC HIGHWAY through Berowra, Cowan, Brooklyn, Mt White, Mooney Mooney Creek through to Point Clare where we will TURN DOWN WOY WOY ROAD through to either ETTALONG BEACH or for those interested PATONGA. (We may choose some stops on the way for photos and we can work these out as we go along). Lunch (there are plenty of shops around) Bring your swimmers if so inclined, then depart and head home when you feel like it. Dont forget to bring along your UHF if you have one, camera if you want some pics, and your sense of direction/humor for a fun day out. For the definites please add in your post below so I know I am not going to head up to Thornleigh and nige it. If anyone has any questions feel free to fire away.

Unfortunatly I can't make it as I am going to be busy that day. The stereo goes in on the 18th as some parts need to be ordered.

tomorrows cruise starts around 9:00am, everyone is meeting at that time give or take a few minutes on either side. If you have a UHF bring it along too as it makes it easier to direct turns along the way. The cruise will go as described above, we should be on the central coast by lunchtime, have a bite to eat, take some pics, have a chat then leave when you feel like..... we are all pretty easy going and are a relaxed crew.

Hi Teki04,
Welcome! Have a look at Post #17. Thornleigh Macca's on Pennant Hills Road. We usually stop along the way to take photo's etc. So we should be having lunch at our destination. Usually a half-dozen or so members are present (some Focus and some Fiesta owners) We take things as they come and definately don't do anything stupid. Hope to see you there!!, Fast Eddie. |
