Default New AU owners read.

Just a couple of part numbers new AU owners may find useful:
AU F060A80 A8 : Console hinge. These have a habit of breaking. This part is only available in Black. $19.25
EF 6C095 A: EF Serpentine belt cover. For some reason the AU never came out with one. $36.74
ER 18846 A1: The little pocket that goes below a single din head unit in a double din sized hole. You will need one if you plan to do a stereo instal with a single din head unit, and have a Ford CD player in your car. These only come in dark Grey, so you will have to paint them to match. $16.79
TAUTVE 9A624 A: XR6 Air induction intake pipe. Is about an Inch wider and a little taller, and has the Tickford wings on it. A worthy cheap mod. Helps the car to breath a little, but is really there to look better (and it does). $34.33

I hope this gives a little info to people who are looking for these knid of parts, and if anyone wants to add please feel free too, and if it has already been posted before, then mods, can you please delete it.

Josh.

That Tickford intake pipe, is that the one that goes from the manifold over the top of the motor, or is it the lower one on the air box?

yes

its the Tickford XR8 intake snorkel
it goes from just above the radiator down to the lower 1/2 of the air filter box

u just unscrew ur old 1 and give it a good wiggle and tug to pull it off of the air filter box

then just slide the new 1 on where the old 1 came off and screw her in and bobs ur uncle.. or aunty.. depends where ur from i spose LOL

ahh, i thought it was the snorkel then. i already have one of thoes, was the very first thing i put on after i got the car. the second thing i got was the drive belt shield.
Does a bigger pipe going from the manifold above the motor even exist? or would i just have to go custom if i wanted one?

alot of people use a custom 3" steel section from the t/b to the airbox.. It makes squat of difference though, I have one and it is only for looks

I welded it up myself out of 3" elbows from the exhaust shop and left over silicon couplings from my EL,,
