No don't disregard. I would like to know the answer to this question. The little attachments are annoying so I figure I better stop putting them up.

I've got it..I think. All I need is a URL to post from. Is that where imageshack and photobucket come in?

Yup

Right click on the image and select "copy image location", then paste into the URL space in the post

A tip for those using the forum gallery to host their images.....

when viewing the thumbnail of the image you can right click to get the image path... which you can then edit to get the path to the full sized image, for example:

thumbnail url is: http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/.../IMG_0284a.jpg

you then remove the /thumbs from the address so it looks like this: http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/.../IMG_0284a.jpg

you can post the full size image in the thread by then doing this:
which in this example translates to [ img ]http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/data/500/IMG_0284a.jpg[/ img ]
or you can do something like this to link in the thumbnail and hyprelink it to the full size image (I would reccomend doing it this way):
[ url =full image path][/ url ] which in this example translates to [ url =http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/data/500/IMG_0284a.jpg][ img ]http://www.fordforums.com.au/photos/data/500/thumbs/IMG_0284a.jpg[/ img ][ /url ]
Note: remove the spaces, they are just there so you can see the code to use
Hope this helps!
