Default The Island 6 hour regularity relay this weekend

Hi guys,

Don't forget that this weekend is the 6 hour at the island this weekend. If you are planning on coming down for a look and are handy with a spanner and haven't already advised you were coming down, let me know - we could use all the help we can get............

Hey arn't we running Fords ?. Shouldn't need a spanner in that case unless someone decides to mow the grass. Do we need to let you know who's coming ?

Does the bikinis have to comply with any CAMS requirements and or specifications e.g fire retardent ( may be a bushfire ), maximum aperture in pitlane, drag efficiency, distance between rose joints, unsprung weight, minimum contact area, maximum cleavage requitements etc. I don't want the team to be fined or disqualified over a minor infringement.

Seagull if they are made to order......I'll have one with the maximum cleavage available, tight but round rear bumpers, long luscious pins.....I'll start with that and let you know the outcome. Excitment is the key so it could become a convertible not long after................. :nutsycuck

I hear that the "banger "is a bit sick. As a result I hear GRNKPR is negotiating with grasshopper to undertake a bit of sharing and caring.
Hopefully this only appies to the on track activities. :monkes:

We came, we saw, we had a ball and looked sensational in the team shirts whilst we were at it...... thanx to everyone for making it one of the best race weekends in a long, long time. 1600GT and I are already talking about next year........ BRUTE6 is in as well.
To have you guys all chipping in and helping - Grasshopppers seat, Richards guard, opening the garage door on Sunday to find Richard's rear right flat and no tyre guys there, Dom's off field excursion, wrong timers on cars- you all got in and helped each other (and me) with getting the job done - maybe i should change my name now to Dorian Queen!!!!!

I forgot to ask Richard if he did indeed use the air-con - I know the cd player got a workout!!!!

Seriously.... roll on the 2007 event!!!!!!

Hey Guys if you are interested in doing another one, there is one coming up at Winton on November 4 & 5th, it is being run by the Alpha Romeo Owers Club Australia (Vict Division), they are running it on a club sprint / regularity format. It should be a hoot, go to their website to get the Supp Regs, contact details, etc. It also is a Teams Event.

Hell, we have entered the Ute for a laugh.

AROCA 6 hour Regs etc Scroll to the bottom of the page

[QUOTE=

[/QUOTE]

I realised as I was leaving pit lane for the start of my second stint that the Rolling Stones were coming with me! : So, yes, the CD got used but, alas, despite getting a bit warm I was not game to turn on the air con on the track - only in the garage! The lecky windows got a fair workout though!

Thanks heaps to all involved - especially the non-drivers (Brute6, 1600GT and Go baby Go). Thanks also to Cam for his assistance with sorting out my rear end. : You guys rock! It was living a dream to compete in a fair dinkum motorsport event. Can't wait for next year - I hope we can get the band back together for another tilt at the title.

For all those wanting to have a crack - don't die wondering! My trusty steed is also my daily driver that was driven to and from the Island under its own steam. It's even an auto!!!!!!!!!!!! : You don't need to be the fastest - only consistent. Slow and careful is fine.

Mallala anyone?

It was good to catch with you again Tickford2001.

Mate you can certainly steer that car well, I've got to find another 5 odd seconds to catch your times. I feel like I've got a sub 2mins in the car but to then push down to mid 50's is a huge step.
