Well today sees the day where I own another turbo E series.
A few mates and I left Vic at 1130 pm friday night, drove straight through to Forster NSW and got there about 130 pm on Saturday. From there we left with the AIT on a trailer, stopping by stockton beach to pick up some bash plates for a mates 4wd. We got home this morning at 7 am. Its an EA fairmont ghia with some nice AIT options. An intercooled turbo setup, a custom AIT instrument cluster including a 260 km/hr speedo, a tremec 5 speed, 12 injectors, electric sunroof, microfueler, 2.92 LSD diff, Bilstien suspension, USC bodykit, oil cooler, speco boost guage and turbo timer. Body wise its in fairly good condition except for some paint damage on the bonnet and some cracks in the bodykit. I plan to replace the bonnet. The scoops arent for me. Interior wise its in need of a tidyup. One of the door trims has broken plastics, the roof lining is saggy and some of the plastics have had holes drilled in them from tec screws or something. It needs new wheels as it came on 15 inch EA S pack wheels with crappy rubber. Not sure what Im going to do about them. Stockies or 18's of some sort. There was some fire damage to the engine bay. It wrecked a power steering hose, the alternator and some wiring. I got all of this stuffed replaced today. I still need to repaint the engine bay. It runs fairly well but needs a tune pretty bad. Apparantly it made 212 rwkw at 5 psi but Im skeptical. I might just go straight ahead and put a wolf 3d in now rather than later. : Future plans are to get it nice and clean looking, fit up a GT3540, a big fuel system and build a tough motor to go racing with. Pics are coming soon. My webspace is playing up. Here is the ad from Ebay to keep you entertained until then. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....DME:L:RTQ:AU:1

Whats the internal specs on this motor? What comp ratio and so on?
Also, what size turbo does it have on it? By the looks of it the spool up would be pretty quick. Will that manifold bolt up the 35/40 straight up? Or will you go an aftermarket one of some sort? Also, if ya go wolf mate, ill help you out with the wiring. I think ive sussed it by now LOL

Looks good. Just looking at the interior photo, why does it have a switch for a rear wiper? Only wagons have a rear wiper. I do like the subtle exterior tweaks like the different grille and extra intake where the front numberplate is supposed to sit. When you replace the bonnet, are you going to keep the Cosworth vents? Personally I like them but that scoop in the middle is a bit much. I can understand why you want to get rid of that!

Thanks guys, I cant wait to get started on it.
I didnt even notice about that switch. I have no idea what it is for. Ill check tomorrow night. The torana is being sold. Im only allowed to keep 1 project, 1 daily and my motorbike :( Ill likely go a standard bonnet. Maybe 1 cosworth vent. The dizzy gets wet in the rain with the setup now. Not sure about engine internals. The GT3540 ay bolt up if its a T3/4 hybrid but it seems to be a t04. I dont think it will fit in the space provided anyway. Ill need a different manifold which is cool. I want to run an external gate anyway.

that instrument cluster is very rare and was only fit on cars with stage 2 as they were good for 240km/h. Do you know what sort of tremac is in it tko or tr3650
