Cruise Time - 25th September 2005 Sydney to Central Coast
Hi Guys, Taking the initiative here and organising a NSW EuroFord Cruise for the month of September. Cruise: Thornleigh or Berowra through the Old Pacific Highway to Woy Woy/Patonga. (This will be the same course travelled in the first cruise of the year but am thinking we should make the run to Patonga. There are a few EuroFordClub members who havent done this course and its also a nice easy relaxing drive with some great road sections hence dont see a huge issue with re-doing the same course). This cruise will also nearly celebrate the first EuroFordClub cruise to Terrigal last year around October. Date: Enthusiasm plus to get one going earlier rather than later so its the 25th September 2005 (a Sunday) Start time: The usual early morning start....9am at either of the starting points (Thornleigh Maccas or Berowra Mobil Service Station. TBA) On this cruise I will be attempting (provided we get up a suitable number of attendees) to get heap of still picture footage and movie footage of the Fez's and Foci in the club. Enrol interest and preferred date below :

Oh, where do I sign up!
Interest Enrolled Any date works for me, if none is prefered by anyone, the sooner the better, so Sept 25th. Can't think of anything it clashes with, which weekends are Bathurst and the Sandown 500 on? Tim |

Sandown is 11th September (on Ten 12:00-17:00) Bathurst is 7th-9th October (on Ten also but just sit there all weekend becasue they are going to cover everything)

ok may be scratch my suggestion of going to The Entrance as its like 50mins from woy woy.and i thought it was around the corner.
Just to make it fair for the newy boys are we able to go up north for the cruise as for the last two cruises its been down sydney way. I just feel bad thats all, but if they are up the original meet that would be cool also.

alright lets set it as the 25th September...will adjust the original post.
as for pic ops I think we can arrange some at the following spots. * old toll gates at Berowra (huge concrete pad there where we can spread out) * pie in the sky (nice grassed area) * action shots going down the hill into Brooklyn (some nice twisty sections/hairpins/dips and if folks want to do up and back runs the up hill climb is awesome as its a two lanes up one lane down so going up you have a bit more room to get into corners and go wider when coming out) * scenic shots going over the Hawkesbury Bridge to Mooney Mooney * shots at the lookout at the top of the hill at Kariong on the road to Woy Woy * Patonga (beach setting, pine trees, sand and surf and hopefully being winter/very early spring the place wont be too packed out) So far we have: Tim (Foci) Lotsy (Feista) Damo (Fiesta) Flamin (Fiesta) Me (Foci) Great to see the regular crew putting their hand up and a Newbie

If its up north, ill head to gosford to visit relatives, so.... anywhere up north is fine!

yeah, thought about that but considering we are planning on using the Old Pacific Highway wouldnt think it will affect us too much as a majority of the cars will persist with the F3 going North, plus being a Sunday hopefully most folks have departed and done their travelling Saturday ;)
Also, looking at this list of attendees WE NEED MORE FOCI, Eddie, Russ where are you ...lol... :

WOW, a few new members all of a sudden. Looks like the cruise is getting bigger... we may need to follow in 2 groups through the twisties.... or maybe in groups of 3. lol.
Ill let you all know closer to the date if i will be going on the cruise..... I still have a few weeks to decide if i should lower the car. Its a possibility.

Hey simonr,
Is that a RZ Supra in the picture gallery? A mate of mine owned one. He sold it and bought a WRX STi. I'm almost certain I'll be there too. Trying to persuade a (girl) friend to come along as well. She said she'd be interested. |

He got too many defect notices (too loud, too low etc)... then the cops pulled him over suspended his licence and he had to leave the car there... he waited 4 hours got back in the car and drove right into cops doing RBT and the same cop pulled him over... haha so he lost his licence for a loooong while and now selling the car to pay the fines he is in the process of selling it.. i think its actually at National Car Connections on Parra Road...
