As we all know ford uses the same wheel for a particular model despite the colour of the car. Ie all GT fpv cars get those 335 wheels, f6 had the twist wheels for a while, g6et gets same wheels.
But these wheels are usually silver, sometimes with a bit of polished look here and there and some dark inserts. These wheels look pretty good on colours like black, reds, blues, whites, silver etc, more traditional colours But for the "coloured" cars such as octane, rapid, toxic, purple they don't really act to bring out these vibrant colours. So for these coloured cars what is the best wheel that really sets off these colours well? Most people go with a black or charcoal wheel for a heavy contrast in colour, some try chrome? Pics would be great, looking for best wheels for these coloured cars. |

I reckon Hyundai has it right with the Veloster:
Silver wheel with body coloured highlights. Other than that silver wheels suit everything. |

Black/Grey still suits me, my last car was white with black wheels. My new car is white with a dark metallic grey.

Basic silver is a good safe bet and will always look acceptable on a car, personally I like black rims and any colour car but I am actually quite take by the standard VF SSV rims that came on my orange commodore so they will stay for the time being.

Since the cars are "coloured" Im tipping they will have what ever wheels on them they have stolen.....................
I hear "coloured" cars always have lots of petrol around them too. |

I have gold wheels on black car..
The GTE wheels WILL be replaced with polished alloy outside and black inside spokes etc.. Sick of cleaning GTE mags .. Plus I want wider rears.. As said its all contrast to the cars colour.. Ooops in these days of P/C are we allowed to say this ???

I like black on almost any colour.
I'm also guessing it would hide the brake dust a little better as well which is also a plus. |
