i just changed the cluster in my au fairlane to a series to t-series cluster and the climate control to a series 2 to match. now the trip computer is not registering, the oil pressure is not registering and the interior light does not work when the drivers door is opened.... whats goin on??? :

If you've put a series 2 cluster in a series 1 it won't function properly. Likewise, if you put a series 1 XR cluster in a Fairmont or Fairlane it won't function properly. Climate control units are interchangeable between all the series, it's a problem with the cluster you have.

is there anyway to sort it out...eg. auto elec or something.? it looks too good to take out....

I went from a standard series one cluster to a series 2 XR cluster and only cost me $57.00 at Gauge works to have it calibrated.

does anybody know someone in melbourne who would be able to riwire it or change the harness cos i;m startin to get sick of playin with this thing.. i was told that it could just be a few wires in the loom that need to be swapped around. has anyone heard anything like that.? by the way thanks for the info guys, it really helps..
