Who cares. A Max Replica would probably sell for more than a Genuine anyway.

"On Jun-27-07 at 10:53:04 PDT, seller added the following information:

PLEASE READ: In my zeal to write an attention grabbing description and to differentiate my Interceptor from another recently sold Mad Max Interceptor I have committed a grievous error. Not only have I offended my friends in Australia I have offended the hard working professional “panel beaters,” or body shop workers as we know them, throughout Australia. I’m appalled at what I wrote now that I sit back and read it and how it will be interpreted in Australia. It’s pointless to make excuses. I apologize to each and every Australian worker involved in the repair and restoration of the fine cars. I particularly apologize to Peter (last name unknown to me), who I do not know and have not met, but who I understand I have most seriously offended. I made a very poor choice of words and an even choice of worse sentence construction. The Australians I know, and I have no doubt all I don’t know, are fantastic, warm, and caring people that would give you the shirt off their back if you were in need. I am very sorry for offending them. D "

Looks like a bit of rust on the underside...

Does it also annoy you that he has Capitalised Every Single Word Like It Does Me?

The Quality Build Of This Interceptor Far Exceeds Anything Coming Out Of Australia By A Wide Margin. There Are No Fist Size Chunks Of Bondo, No Chicken Wire, No Bodywork By “Australian Standards,” And No Surprises.

What a tool.

Fist Size Chunks Of Bondo?
Has this guy ever watched American Hotrod or Overhaulin?
the cars are nothing but bondo......
Also remember the great biker build off b/w USA/UK/AUS ?
The AUS builder hand beated every bit of metal to get the right shape.
The US builder made his creation out of BONDO.
FFS this guy has no idea....

I wonder how hard it would be to "undo" all the crap done to the car and put it right again???

alot of work, i bought a coupe back in the early 90's that had a mad max front end on it, painted in glittery brown paint .hated it and refused to drive it as it was . took me ages to get it back,as well as to replace the hideous purple velour interior. (all of it)
some people seriously have no taste.

was actually a good reproduction of the max front end, i think i left it behind the shed when i moved out.
