Default heart transplant for a loved one

well I've been having dramas with my girl. She has lost power and has blow by so we did a compression test and was less than impressed . 1,2.3.5 all 125 PSI 4&6 175 PSI on a 100K engine : . so i went to ford pro at smithfield as the told me they had an AU engine for $500 (talked down from $650)with 60 000Ks. when I got there he said he had a tickford engine there with 56 000Ks for $800. i talked him down to $650. i can sell my old tickford cam and rocker cover and recoup the difference ( mine was a standard engine and i put the cam and cover on) it goes in on monday and i can't wait. i can recoment ford pro to anyone i've bought a few things there and they are great to deal with and don't rip you off oh and yes the will bargain

I picked up a 60,000km engine from Macarthur Parts Plus for just over $500 ... and delivered to my mechanic as well.

the 60K one i was going to get was 500 i opted for the tickford for a bit extra. as i said i'll recoup the extra selling my tickford cam and rocker cover from my old engine so i'm happy with the price i already have the XR ECU so that completes the package

Good price mate, well done!

Why is it that all AU wreckers engines seem to magically have 60,000 kays on them?!
