Default tickford xr8-tseries motor builders- kw readings

i thought it would be interesting to see what engine builders made engines that made the most power? i know that different variables come into it, but generally it would be good to know.

my motor was built my sean pearce, and stock it pulled 175rwkw.

does anyone else have there stock outputs and the engine builder (plauqe on drivers side rocker cover)

cheers AUXR8220

I think the way the car has been driven & maintained & the dyno conditions would make more of a variance then the engine builder.
Anyhow D Gariglio 187.5kw for my stock T2 manual.

W. Marsicano built my rig, pulled approx 182rwkw stock. Bit of a variance in dyno's isnt going to help much though.

Yeah I have to admit, I've been keeping a close eye on those springs. The amount of 220's that fell over within that month was f&*king ridiculous.

what do you mean by "The amount of 220's that fell over within that month was f&*king ridiculous"?

Guys, I got mine dyno'ed today, i am very very sad with the result !!
30C+ afternoon(hot). The old 220kw auto only made 125kw e

i don't know much about dynos but i can confirm the following:

DynoDynaics dyno
set on RAMP MODE-not shootout mode( apperantly the end result in either mode is the same)

ran in 2nd gear and in 3rd gear(auto), power increased by 1kw in the 3rd gear run , but the torque natuarly increased.
i payed $50 and got 2 sheets which i am very dissapointed with ! :

There was a spate of 220's dying. Most were valve springs but I copped a piston, but that is what happens when Unichips go bad and ECU's learn around them.

I'll have to have a look and see who built mine, I can't remember of the top of my head, but with only 4,000klm's on the clock mine made 142rwkw, then 160rwkw with the mod's, same day same dyno.

he also showed me some graphs of other recent cars he did.

HSV 297KW R8 6.0L VZ made 166kw
ED rx8 sprint bade 117kw, with blower made 168kw.

looks like his dyno reads very low.. but still 125kw is bad, although the 220kw auto did a 7.02sec 0-100km/h on the g-tech !?

Autotech Engineering <--- one of the better ones.
C&V Performance <-- one of the better ones.
Intune Motorsport <-- its a happy dyno.
High Comp Performance <-- Hard dyno but reasonable I think.
Castle Hill Exhaust Center <-- Fair.
Incar <-- Fair.

Get a dyno run at any of the above.

tic-302 that is one ugly reading for a 220.....never seen one that low.
Mine stock 220 auto was 153 from memory after better headers, Unichip got 179ish.
