hey all...doesnt do it all the time but done it yesterday on the freeway....slowed down like normal....but the wheel seemed to shake and shudder to a stop...what could this be.....discs and pads are like 20,000 old

OK this could sound really really stupid. But have u check the wheel nuts?? Im only saying that becasue the last car i had, had that problem and it was the bloody wheel nuts loose!!
Other than that warped discs perhaps?? Frank

Can only be warped discs, seized/stuck calliper(s) causing uneven pad wear, worn wheel bearing, or loose wheel nuts really.
I'm leaning towards seized/stuck callipers. You can get a calliper service kit for around $30 for both fronts from most good brake places, and they are easy enough to fit/service following the instructions that come in the packaging.

Just warped rotors, we all get it, I run DBA slotteds, and theyll be starting to warp 5000k's after a skim.

Id be leaning towards warped rotors also. Pretty common with the ABS apparently.

try wheel alignment too. my 'shuddering' from slowing down was fixed when i got a wheel alignment. brakes had just been changed so it wasnt them lol
