As per the title, My AUII 347ci GHIA has an oil catch can, has done since i bought it so never removed it.
Seeing its there, and the car is soon to be in pieces to get some more work done I decided to rip it out and replace it, its been about 4 months since i checked it (i know, possibly too long, but these days i hardly ever drive the thing) and when i went to pour it out I had a heap (100ml or so) of water come out, and only a small amount of oil. I am aware that this is probably just condensation, but is it likely to build up this much over only such a short period of time? Can it be pointing to a larger issue at all? The car has always run fine, and never had any other problems. Help is appreciated Cam |

Yeah would just be condensation, I really wouldnt worry about it.

so the water and oil were seperated, not milky oil. how can that happen? you didn't some how fill it up while washing
|

Well I'm pretty sure its just condensation, but with milky looking oil in the rockers It's looking like the Head gasket is gone as well (see link above)

time to rip the heads off while they are off might be a good time to do a bit of work to them. you can never have too much power

They are Vic Jnr heads, so they will be staying as is, I got more stuff to upgrade before I even think about touching the heads :P
