It is an awesome car, was told the bar was damaged this morning taking it off the car trailer.

I thought you said they were fibreglass from factory.....it looks like ABS, but I guess ABS wouldn't crack like that

What I was told was that the bar itself is ABS but the lip on them is glass from factory - would make sense since they were such a limited run that I dont think Ford would make them from ABS (not enough to justify it). Now Ive never actually had a genuine 250 bar so I cant confirm it but I do believe the bloke that told me.

This explains all of the Fords I saw on the road back from wet and wild today... Spotted a nice red AU XR8 on the way home that stood out.

i was passed by a group of wild T series on the gateway!!!1 all the blue ones went flying around me.....guess it didnt help that i was waving at you guys!!!lol was tempted to tag along with yous for a bit....but i had to restrain myself as i was escorting my mate in his valiant home. i got a few pics of everything....may just post them all in the QLD section.

Lors of very nice AU's there was great to see. Glad to see an AU win a trophy in a field dominated by B Series cars unfortunately.

The GT of the AU's. There was a great display of the T's. When my car grows up I hoping she becomes one. Have never seen so may in one spot before, simply awesome.

I assume the red xr is Sledgehhammers as its the only carbied au I know of.
