If you could travel through time and go back a few years, what cars would you buy of the showroom floor new? Me... 66 and 74 f100 ,XC coupe. XW GT. It seems silly i know but i often wish it were possible. Think of all the spares you could get in advance.

So I've always liked the F40, and the Porsche 959. Pity I can't afford either. That aside, would love an XB Goss with the green, or an XB GT with a nice colour combination. Which one, I am not sure.

I'd only play this game if I could go back and get any car with the money I have now, as opposed to the cheap price back then!
With that in mind, I'd buy a stack of XY GTs. GK

Hmmmmmm, the possabilities, ok, here goes;
assuming unlimited funds- HK GTS 327 HQ GTS 350 2dr & 4dr XYHO III of coarse (one of the first 20 that got the "QC" motors, ie. quality control hand built units) XA RPO83 2dr &4 dr The one and only XAHO IV. (I'd sit outside the car yard that sold it used if I had to). A9X 2dr (one of the race shell ones like the one Streetmachine gave away years ago) AUIII TL50 If it was a limited budget then it'd have to be the XYHO III & XAHO IV of coarse cos I could sell one now and buy all the rest and still have change, ................ but which one to keep? hmmmmmmm.....

You guys do realise that it you all went back in time and bought heaps of Phase 3s they would be worth nothing now.
Do you really think if there was suddenly a thousand showroom condition GTHOs they would sell for one billion dollars? Yeh right! Besides even if you did get a pile of Phase 3s they would be very ordinary against all the phase 4s, phase 5s, phase 6s, XU2s, GTR-Xs, E58s etc built after Evan Green's "little accident" the day before he wrote his heresy. |

I have a strange taste in cars , and would love to buy stuff which is hard to get today for any price, they're are plenty of cars not here but i cant get them today Acutally if you sent me back to like 1976 i could probably pick all these cars up for sod all. In addition to these cars would bring back a shipping container full of 44 gallon drums of high quality leaded petrol- bloody 98 octane today is garbage compared to old fuel.
Couple big old Packard's, late 20's and late 40s jobs. Late 40's Mercury Coupes Jenson Interceptor 1955 Ford Customline v8 1953 Studebaker Commander Plymouth Barracuda 72 Ford LTD (American) P5 Rover V8 Coupe Mazda Cosmo with Rotary Prince Skyline (when did you last see one of them) AMC Rambler Ambassador Lotus Elan A 1940s Buick Austin 1800 A Phase 3 GTHO Falcon so I can be a king amonst Ford fans. A 1972 Hillman Hunter Manual, so I can work out what the previous owner has done to the bloody wiring loom in mine. And most of all a bloody XA Hardtop coupe cause they are bloody impossible to get for decent money.
