Question idle speed control?

Hey can anyone tell me how to adjust or test the idle speed control on my au2 wagon. Factory dual fuel. On LPG it's like its low on fuel or stalling as ya go through the gears. Take foot off accelerator, re-apply accelerator and it picks up again, then dies again and repeats the process. I've been told it's the idle speed control, but i don't know anything about how to adjust it. Thanx in advance for any help folks.

as far as i was aware you cannot adjust the Idle speed yourself as it is controlled by the PCM of the car.

Also take the check the ISC plug on the throttle body to make sure it isn't dirty or damaged. maybe clean the throttle body out as well.

Hey Judge, this sounds wierd???? Does it do this when you are running on petrol as well??? It sounds a lot like a problem I had with the gas converter icing up....... just a thought?

idle speed control has no effect on acceleration. as above, the converter may be freezing. when was the last time you had the gas system serviced? it should be done at least once a year. when it happens, stop the car, with the motor running, open the bonnet and feel the heater hoses going into the converter, or the converter itself. it should be too hot to hold your hand on for any length of time, normally engine running temp is about 90ºc. if it is cold to the touch, or slightly warm but not hot, the first thing to do is check the coolant level. if that's ok, make sure there are no blockages in the system. where does the temperature gauge normally sit on the dash?

OK thanks for that fellas. I had this same problem 18 months ago. I replaced the mixer and converter about 18 months ago with new items. Had my local LPG centre service the system then. Has run great until a week ago. I am leaning towards the converter icing up eh. Cooling system runs cool and never overheats, never uses a drop of coolant either.
It's strange ya know the only work i've done lately is change my transmission, I'm a mechanic but i'm learning LPG. Transmission swap was drama-free. I don't know of any LPG relationships to the transmission??
So i'm gonna look @ the converter. Greatly appreciate your input fellas. Will post a result. Cheers...The Judge.

OK here's where i'm at: Checked converter & it seemed clean enough to do it's job(see pic). Flukey suggested the stepper motor & I reckon he's right(see pic). As ya can see there's a fair bit of blow-by on one side of the stepper cone. So what do ya all reckon? I'm gonna go chase a new stepper motor...
