Depends on what model you have S1 S11 S111.. Basicly premo had 6 speakers plus factory fitted sub and amp , also was a 6 stacker in dash, S11 had a cassette player as well .. a single disk player will be a straight swap with a 6 stacker.. I would guess you could hook a sub to the standard h/u if you ran RCs to amp or such ..

The none premium unit in S1 i don't believe even had the option for RCA outs, the premium unit in S1 had the connection for rear speaker out but it has no internal amp for it and has a 4 channel amp thats running subs and rear speakers, so it doesn't actually work in S1 that way.
But you can always just buy an aftermarket amp and run the speaker wires from back speakers into the hi level input on amp, if your going to do this just make sure the amp actually has a hi level input cause some don't. If you already have an amp that doesn't you can get an adapter.

you will never use a factory stereo no matter what car you drive if your into sound quality, premo is alright for your average joe that doesnt really give 2 s**ts about musc but yeah, its always better to go with an aftermarket one, dont waste the time and effort, i had premo sound in my fairmont but soon got over how underpowered it all was and how flat the sound was, so now its got a fairly large serious system in it that im pretty happy with.still got all the premo gear incase i want to put the stezza in another car caus i aint spendin this sort of money on a stereo again.lol

Well some would be amazed at how good my standard premo head unit sounds running into my amps/speakers/subs, although it is lacking a bit of voltage out on rca's.
The factory in boot 6 stacker is ok, just when your cd's get stuck in it, you pull it out and bang it down while hitting eject, they soon come out and works good for another 6 months ;).

haha the in boot stackers are prolly better than the in dash ones but still, i had no problems with anything to do with my premo sound but i want SQ so i decided to go all out, if i wasnt serious about better quality sound i would have stuck with the premo sound as it has always done alright by me...
