Default URGENT!! Anyone in Bris who can move an LTD?

Morning all. I'm making an urgent call to anyone who has a large car trailer and or 4WD or something, I have my LTD project temporarily parked on the street due to having to move twice in one month. Have not yet got a place for it, however the council have contacted my old real estate and said that they will be removing it as soon as they are able. The car is not running, and does not have inflated tyres.

So if anyone is able to lend any help I would appreciate it more than you'd know.

At the moment I may have a place in Salisbury to store it temporarily, however I have no way of getting it there. I'm currently looking at prices to get it tilt trayed there.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Serious? From Wynnum to Salisbury for $80? Do I just casually mention I am a cab driver, or is there more to it?

does it start at all? does it go into drive? if so, tow it with your 98 AU Futura.

half day car trailer hire should be around $50 i'd say. or call a towing company in the area and get a quote.

I don't want to sound attacking or anything, but the last time I hired a car trailer it was around $170 for half a day. It is rediculously expensive these days. 5-10 years ago it was cheap, now it is a rip.

If you paid $170 for a half day you were ripped off!!!
I only last hired 1 about 4 months ago and was from memory about $80 for 24hrs.
For $170 I'd want 1 way hire to Sydney.

Getting a tilt tray is a much better option. It is a lot safer than a car trailer and it generally works out a simmilar price to hiring a car trailer and paying for fuel. Besides, with a tilt tray, you do no work!

tis cool. last time i paid about $96 for 8 hours. pretty sure half day (4hours) was around 50-60 bucks. this is about a year ago. i guess inflation takes its course.

tilt tray, stop mucking around ,council will be ringing tilt tray themselves very soon,
by the way, you have no hope of puling a fairlane onto trailer with flat tyres,
it will bottom out on the floor

This is what I was getting at.. the LTD is around 1900kgs and a trailer that would fit the LTD on the deck would be around 500kgs. My Falcon is good with towing, but not in excess of 2.4 tonnes. I was just curious if someone had a 4WD and or their own car trailer than can fit a long wheelbase vehicle. But never mind.

I'll be organising a tilt tray this afternoon.
