Shame to hear that buddy. I have no idea on a price but hopefully you get something respectable for it.

Realisticly, 6-7000 is what he will get. What its worth would be $10000, thats a price that he would get in the right economy when people want to buy cars.

the car will suit an enthusiast though. Someone who knows what kind of hard work thats gone into the car. Thats the best market he should go for. Not some one who just wants a run about etc.

Wow, no reserve on ebay.. Will keep an eye on it!

Did you get the engine issues sorted? Or still leaking water?

leaking water? engine issues? thanks for mentioning it here Cam, i know i wouldnt touch a car with issues like that, and i know a lot of people hide the issue when selling. if there is an issue like that, id let people know, instead of say... using chemiweld, byp-assing hoses etc. if it is the case, realistically, the price would only be $5000, if your not looking to rip people off and not feeling guilty knowing they will have to spend money on the thing. i wouldnt go anywhere near it personally if it was more then 5 grand and was told, like suggested, there might be engine/water issue. Cam, you should keep your mouth shut, so he can sell the damn thing!

Pull ya head ya head dude geez running your mouth about nothing,

i have changed the head gasket, im not trying to rip any one off thats why it is being sold AS IS WHERE IS!! if i wanted to rip someone off id get a dodgie roadie and say its the best car under the sun,

the car still has minor vaccum leak issues, and just needs some TLC but i have lost intrest due to person reasons

i have a legit reasons to sell the car,

its in the buils thread eveything that has been done to the car, expect for the replacment head last time becuase it neally puts me in tears having to document it and sell something that i put so much time and money into,

the ebay is no reserve i just hope that i get what i want for it or who ever buys it doesnt pull out once the bidding has ended,

Dude, lay off the latenight crack-snack!

There is a thread on his car, that listed the issues he has / had, so they are no secret, i was simply asking if they are still existing. I have shown interest in buying this car some time ago, so I wasn't trying to hinder his chances of selling it!

Good to see the head gasket issues are fixed mate, am closely watching the auction, and have and will be involved in further bidding on it, will be in contact once I think it may fall within my price range

All the best with it mate
