Attention all you AU door lock ex-spurts......
We have a AU2 poverty pack ute with intermittent door lock problems. Doors will be locked only to open at any time between virtually straight away, to perhaps 2 days, by themselves. We've replaced both door actuators and had a reasonable glance for any suspect wiring. It is possible the replaced actuators are also bunk because they were second hand. An auto sparky guru we've spoke to suspects it's the BCM, of which I'm not convinced. Any ideas?

Can you disconnect one of the actuators and lock both and see if it will unlock the connected actuator ?

Bit of a thread mine, but also closure.
This ended up being water leaking on the loom in the drivers footwell. Spraying WD40 and unplugging/plugging the connector several times solved the problem. Obviously fixing the water leak helped too...
