Any one know what 1/4 mile time a series 2 2ookw xr8 manual sedan runs as standard cheers?

Above is an estimate for the ute.. but probably not much difference.. maybe 0.2s slower.

They're not quite a mid 14 car. The 220 manuals were about there.

Cheers fellas mine is stock but having exhaust fitted next week twin 2 1/2 with mod factory headers and metal cats onc thats on got the tyfoon intake and k+n air filter and will gut out my air flow meter then down to the strip for a play will be happy if she gets into the 14s...

Go with twin 2.25" exhaust, much better for the 5L.
Only need twin 2.5" if you want 8000rpm.

Save yourself alot of trouble and dont do this.

I would bet mid to high 14s if your a decent steerer, and the car is in good nick

Yeah was thinking that but there is some boost coming just around the corner mate so was keeping that in mind will change headers to 4into1s when that happens also...

As xr8ute said, Don't gut your maf.... If you do it wont run right and its bigger than you throttle body anyhow.

Have been told by BPT that it will run like a pig and when they gut a maf they have to retune.

I run a C&L 76mm maf which is just the housing (uses original electronics) which i bought from BPT some years back. the air meter must read flow completely different because of the housing change and was virtually undrivable with out a flash tune, In the end i gained around 5 kws tops, maybe reved a little cleaner at the top of the tach.

Was it worth the money spent for the gain...........I don't think so.
