Default How to derice a hatchback

Hey all,

Whilst on the millstone, I received an email from a colleague who wrote 'dericing' instead of 'deriving'. I wanted to make sure it was a genuine typo and not something else.

So I did what any self-respecting Geek would do - put 'dericing' into Google.

Came across this rather amusing thread:
http://www.civicforums.com/forums/46...hatchback.html

Suffice it to say, after stripping down all that fibreglass and bog, the owner of that car probably cut down the weight of that civic by about 60kgs!

Enjoy

I especially like how he chieseled off complete chunks of faux-body just behind the doors (above the skirts). The first couple of images looked as though he was ripping into the sheetmetal (WTF?!).

But when I scrolled down further and saw the images of his restoration of the roof guttering (and the copious amounts of bog being dug out) I realised that wasn't sheetmetal he was hacking into!

Thats pretty dumb really, someone has gone to all the work to build a car ALOT of people would love, then he goes and rips it all off again!

Would have been worth more (to some) riced up! But a stock one in the first place!
