OK for anybody who doesn't know I received a letter today notifying me that maquarie bank has acquired a "receivables book" from GMAC and the contract terms are to remain as they are BUT payments are to be made to macquarie not GMAC - there is a contact number in the letter and it is 1300 736 045 or log into their customer service website at www . yourlease . com . au
anybody owing money to GMAC I strongly urge you to call them if you have not already been contacted by mail or otherwise and cease payments to GMAC as of now.
