Pictured on Old Northern Road Albany Creek, QLD.
It has about 2 tonnes of concrete blend and bags of cement in the back. A very expensive exercise, as a Department of Transport vehicle also arrived to offload a hefty fine. |

Oh dear :( I guess such a blatant disregard for your vehicles carrying capacity will be good news for his insurer.

Who really knows.
It would not be 2 tonnes. maybe 1 tonne. Most probably just done a wheel bearing in the old thing. that sort of weight would not help. |

Either way, whoever was driving should be thanking his lucky stars it didn't give out on the M1 at 110km/h, looks as though it got to the side of the road without too much drama.

There's one thing to say about the VE's, the wheel arches arrive 15 minutes before the rest of the car!

Is this normal type of practice from Queenslanders, or Holden driving Queenslanders?

I think its normal practise for a lot of people, especially those tradies with utes. Have seen plenty being driven with the arseend of the car scraping the road because they are over-loaded. I saw a mazda 121 bubble car over loaded to the max in the rear seat, boot overloaded as it was open and towing a trailer! The woman driver couldnt care less...

Stupid and dangerous behavior, the repair bill will no doubt beat some sense into him.
