My brother posted this in another part of the forum, thought it might get more traffic in here.
Hi lads, As titled im just wondering how straight forward it is fittng a lsd out of a BF xr6 ute into an AU falcon ute, they are both leaf sprung and i have the tailshaft to suit the BF diff. Wll i need to adapt the tailshaft to fit? Do the spring perches lne up? any answers greatley appreciated. Cheers in advance |

if it's non turbo should be exactely the same aren't they.

they will physicaly fit but why put a weaker diff in your car just because it is low klms?

Also the way the hand brake cable mounts to the diff is different. It is nothing a hose clamp can't fix, but then it doesn't work 100%.
I did have previously in my ute the diff from a BA XR6 (open center) and that was the only problem. Cheers
