I doubt you could get it organised to be honest.
Even if you wanted to do it, youd need a pretty big location to hold that many cars. |

Is that seriously a record? I wonder how many Fords were at the Picnic at Hanging Rock car show a few years ago, there were just over 2500 cars there, I know they were different brands, but by far the biggest turn out were Fords.

Best way to try and beat it would be ALL FORD DAY Geelong on 20th Feb, from memory over 1000 Fords at this event..
Few years back they tried to stage some sort of record cant remember what it was exactly for but it did involve lots of cars, problem is everyone wants to leave at a different time.. http://www.allfordday.org/ We also still have a couple of spots left for our Forum Display, PM me if your interested..

Well all they have to do is run a direct course.
An easy way to get this sorted is get a charity such as Variety to back it. If each car had to donate a small amount to the charity I am sure they will make all the legal bits happen, organise the media and you never know who may turn up to be involved. |

What about the 75th Anniversary Cruise from Broadmeadows too Geelong? Surely that would of had more cars than that.
I was at the GAFD when they "tried" to make a record. The plan was to get everyone to leave together, people leave at different times & at the end of the day just wanted to go home. |
