Default au premium radio

G'day all,

I did a search on this but could'nt find anything, although I think I've seen something about this mentioned before.

I need to know if an au premium stereo with 6 stacker cd player taken from a fairmont ghia will fit into my au1 forte without any modifications.
I have heard( i think) that they fit but wont play! Could some one clear this up for me please.

Thanks

if it came out of a S1 it will work fine if out of a S2/3 it will work as such but you will have dramas with the steering wheel controls
