Depending on price your paying an edlebrock or other aftermarket throttle body may be cheaper as the tickford units can be stupidly pricey

Keep in mind a 70mm TB will do nothing for performance over the standard 65mm TB on a standard and even warm 5L.

how accurate is that? down to the first 12 decimal places doesn't quite convince me.

i was originally going to say 'a bit smaller than 70mm' but for engineering purposes i thought i had to be a bit more precise.

Wasn't quite happy with that either Austin, but it was the best conversion I could pull from the Interweb.

This actually works out to be about 280.819 Euros. Value for money? I'm not so sure. If it was in Deutschmarks maybe.

Germany uses Euros.

I think youre best option in terms of value is to pay in monopoly money and run before anyone notices.

At that price it would most certainly have to be Post Carbon tax pricing.

Just getting a quote from the bank about extending the house loan to cover one of these throttle bodies, then I'm getting one for insurance.

Has anybody checked whether the entire engine has to pay the carbon tax or is it just the throttle body?

I had the size of the original TB in post #5 anyhow, which was before the dude asked how big the standard one was!

Just to clarify though, it's 65mm.

My verniers show 5mm less than 70mm but Interweb search comes up with 5mm more than 60mm

What do you do Craig? Hopefully nothing of importance. 5mm give or take is a huge margin of error especially if you're talking about nuclear weapons.
